Doctor of Historical Sciences (habilitation equivalent), Professor in the Department of History of Ukraine, Skovoroda National Pedagogical University of Kharkiv.

Research interests: history of Polish and Jewish communities (particularly women) on Ukrainian lands, gender history, historical memory, biographical studies. Author of the monograph “Polish Women of Dnieper Ukraine in the Second Half of the 19th and Early 20th Centuries: Public and Private Life (Kharkiv, 2015) and several dozen scholarly publications.

Lives and works in Kharkiv.

Graduated from the Faculty of History, Skovoroda National Pedagogical University of Kharkiv. In 2009, she completed a master’s program in Gender Studies at the European Humanities University (Vilnius, Lithuania). In 2006, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences (PhD equivalent) on the topic “‘Organic Work’ on the Ukrainian Lands of the Russian Empire in the 1860s–1890s.” In 2018, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Polish Women of Dnieper Ukraine in the Second Half of the 19th and Early 20th Centuries: Public and Private Life.”

Recipient of a Kasa Mianowskiego Foundation fellowship (2006) and a CASE Center grant for the project “Social Transformations of the Borderlands.” She has participated in international projects on women’s history and in scholarly conferences in Poland, Lithuania, and Canada.

She collaborates with women’s civic organizations and delivers public lectures on women’s history.
