Сo-founder and Vice President of UARWH (2010–2024), Candidate of Historical Sciences (PhD equivalent), Associate Professor in the Department of History, Faculty of Sociology and Law, National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (KPI); Deputy Director for International Relations at the Ukrainian Center for Gender Education at KPI. Research interests: source studies and historiography of 20th-century women’s history, particularly the first decades of Soviet rule in Ukraine.
Lived and worked in Kyiv.
Her participation in the first conferences on women’s issues in Ukraine in 1994–1995 — “The Women’s Movement in Ukraine: History and the Present” (Odesa, 1994) and “Women of Ukraine: Current Status and Prospects” (Odesa, 1995) — shaped the direction of her subsequent scholarly career: women’s and gender history. In 1999, she defended her dissertation, “The Female Factor in the System of Social Relations in Ukraine (16th–18th Centuries),” at Mechnikov State University of Odesa. She presented her research in numerous publications and at scholarly forums in Ukraine and abroad.
As a member of the Ukrainian Center for Gender Education at KPI, she was part of the initiative group that organized a series of conferences on women in education and science. She also participated in the UNDP national training program for directors of regional gender resource and educational centers.
