Associate Professor in the Department of Eastern European History, Faculty of History, Ruhr University Bochum. Graduated from the Faculty of History, Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (2002) and completed her master’s degree at Ruhr University Bochum (2008). Her doctoral dissertation was on the topic “Women in the Ukrainian Nationalist Underground in the 1930s–1950s” (2016). Lives and works in Bochum.
Research interests: gender and nationalism, gender-based violence.
