Doctor of Historical Sciences (habilitation equivalent). Until 2016, Professor in the Department of Slavic History, Donetsk National University; since 2017, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of History of Ukraine, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the collection “New Pages of Donbas History”; member of the editorial boards of the “Bulletin of Donetsk National University: Historical Sciences” and the journal “Historical and Political Studies”; member of the Ukrainian Oral History Association. Lives and works in Donetsk and Kyiv.
Since 1998, she has been researching women’s and gender issues through cultural, anthropological, and everyday-life perspectives. She has presented her research in numerous publications and at scholarly forums in Ukraine, Russia, Croatia, and France.
She developed and taught original courses in oral history, gender studies, women’s history, and the gendered dimensions of everyday life at Donetsk National University.
