Doctor of Historical Sciences (habilitation equivalent), Leading Research Fellow at the Institute of Biographical Research, Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. Graduated from the Faculty of History, Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (1980). She defended her candidate’s dissertation in 1986 and her doctoral dissertation in 2011.
Research interests: Ukrainian historiography, women`s history, memory studies, theoretical and methodological issues in biographical research, women’s biographical studies.
Lives and works in Kyiv.
She taught at public and private universities in Kyiv. In 1994–1995, she taught Ukrainian history at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada). From 2001 to 2004, she participated in international programs at the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary).
