Annotation: This study focuses on the women’s organization Soiuz Ukrainok (Union of Ukrainian Women) and its path of resocialization — the transformation of gender stereotypes within the historical realities of Galicia between 1914 and 1939. The author examines the organizational development of the Ukrainian women’s movement and its engagement with the sociopolitical processes of the time: collaboration with political parties and civic organizations during electoral campaigns, contributions to the development of parliamentarism, and the consolidation of Ukrainian society. The text is richly illustrated with original caricatures that illuminate contemporary perceptions of the Ukrainian feminist movement in Galicia. Intended for specialists in the humanities and all those interested in the history of the Ukrainian women’s movement.
